An interior view of a certain art gallery in Laguna Beach, CA. I've replaced Pacific Coast Highway with the blue Pacific, in an homage to Edward Hopper. The title was inspired by an overheard admonition to a gallery patron, who was attempting to take a photo of an artwork with his cell phone.
A tiny beauty shop in downtown Santa Ana, CA, near the Arts District. In true Latin American style, the proprietors are gathered outside, to enjoy the cooler air and gossip. I was taken by the quoins, which lend this little casa a castle-like solidity.
